Palmarès has no accounts, no analytics, and no copy of your records on any server we run. The short version is that your history is yours and we cannot read it. The rest of this page explains exactly what that means.
Last updated 11 August 2026.
No personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, no profile, and no analytics or tracking software in the app. We do not receive your name, your email address, your location, your car, your records or your usage.
Two things are kept on our server, both described in full below, and both listed on our App Store privacy label as data that is not linked to you and never used for tracking:
Neither is derived from you, your phone or your Apple ID, and neither can be tied back to a person.
Everything you put into Palmarès stays on your device, and by default is also kept in your own iCloud private database so that it survives a lost phone and appears on your other devices. This is the same private storage Apple gives your photos and messages. We have no access to it. Apple's handling of it is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
You can turn iCloud off during setup or later in Settings, in which case the record lives on that one device and nowhere else.
Every document you scan is read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. Nothing leaves the phone for an ordinary scan.
Some pages defeat on-device recognition: faded thermal receipts, handwriting, a dense summary table from a previous owner. For those, the app can offer a closer read. That happens only when you tap to accept it, one document at a time, and it works like this:
The closer read can be disabled entirely in Settings, and the app is fully usable without it.
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides a signed receipt which our server checks in order to release what you paid for, and that check stores only the transaction identifier and the credits it granted, so the same purchase cannot be redeemed twice.
The app uses Apple's push service so that iCloud changes reach your other devices promptly. These are silent, contain no content of yours, and are sent by Apple's CloudKit rather than by us.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising or profiling. The only third parties involved are the ones described above: Apple, for iCloud storage and payments, and the model provider used for a closer read when you explicitly ask for one.
Palmarès is a tool for vehicle owners and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request. Your records are in your possession: deleting the app removes the local copy, and turning off iCloud sync or deleting the app's iCloud data through iOS Settings removes the synced copy. If you would like the aggregate credit counter tied to your installation cleared, write to us and it will be done.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the updated version will be posted here with a new date, and any change of substance will be described in the app's release notes.
