Palmarès
Fiche d'historique · service record

The binder of receipts that came with the car, filed properly.

My Porsche arrived with a previous owner's folder of invoices. Everything the car had ever needed was in there, and none of it was any use: I could not carry it, I could not search it, and when it came time to prove the history I was holding up a fistful of fading thermal paper. Palmarès is that folder, done right.

Every entry shows its proof

preuve

A service history is only worth what can be backed up. Most apps let you type anything and present it exactly like a scanned invoice. Palmarès does not. Each entry carries its own standing, and the record corrects itself: claim a receipt is attached, attach nothing, and it quietly drops back to stated.

Receipted

Backed by the original invoice, scanned and kept with the entry.

Transcribed

Taken from a previous owner's summary sheet. Honest, and not the same thing as a receipt.

Stated

Typed in from memory. Recorded, and never dressed up as evidence.

How it works

mode d'emploi
  1. 01

    Photograph the car

It opens the file and works out what the car is, so you are correcting a form rather than filling one.

  2. 02

    Photograph the receipts

Dates, workshops, odometer readings and totals are read on the iPhone itself. A previous owner's summary sheet files every row at once, and the matching receipts attach to those rows later as proof.

  3. 03

    Hand over the dossier

One PDF: the timeline, the odometer series, and every scan behind it. The thing a serious buyer actually wants to see.

Files count too. A PDF the workshop emailed you is read straight out of the file, and a paper invoice, a fuel-station thermal slip or a decades-old stamped service book goes through the camera.

What we can readNothing

There is no sign-up, because there is nothing to sign up to. Your history syncs through your own iCloud private database, the same place your photos live, and it is not readable by us. A page your iPhone cannot make out can be sent for a closer read, but only when you ask for it, one document at a time. Those pages are processed and dropped. They are never stored. The full policy says the same thing at greater length.

One purchase, for good. Your records are never held behind a subscription, and they never will be. Extra credits for the closer read are sold separately at €4.99 for 250 documents, and nothing about the record needs them.

Free to try with one car and a working history, so you can see what your own paperwork looks like in it before deciding.

From one owner to another

entre passionnés

This was built because I needed it. I keep my own cars in it, the receipts I am filing are my own, and every decision in it comes from an evening spent at a kitchen table with a binder and a scanner, wondering why proving a car's history is this hard.

If your paperwork breaks it, I want to know. Write to me.
